Rozetatech received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy at the ‘National Productivity Contest’ (2022.11.03) SafeToday
Rozetatech (CEO Cho Young-jin) won the commendation of the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, a special award given to companies leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution, at the 2022 National Productivity Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul, on Nov. 3.
The National Productivity Competition, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and hosted by the Korea Productivity Center, is a public award ceremony for companies, corporations, organizations, and people of merit with excellent productivity. It is an event to enhance the honor and exemplary effect of the award and to disseminate best practices of productivity improvement to the industry. This year marks the 46th anniversary.
Rozetatech went through a rigorous review by the Korea Productivity Center and received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, a special award given to leading companies in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Youngjin Cho, CEO of Rozetatech, said, “It is an honor for Rozetatech to win the National Productivity Contest. We are pleased to be recognized for our efforts in developing a wireless fire detection system at a global level by applying IoT and digital twin, technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
CEO Cho Young-jin also explained, “Our people are not yet safe from fire because the existing wired fire detection system that we have today, which received technology from Japan a few decades ago, has many problems and large-scale disasters continue to occur.” “To complement this, we established a company to create a safer world with new technologies in the 4th Industrial Revolution era and developed an IoT wireless fire detection system.”
CEO Cho continued, “Rozetatech is leading the era of fire prediction and maintenance through digital twin technology, and is pioneering overseas markets starting with the establishment of a Vietnamese corporation.” He added, “Based on the world’s best IT technology, including the development of our own semiconductors, we are working in the field of IoT firefighting. “We will strive to become the No. 1 global company,” he said in his acceptance speech
In recognition of its technological competitiveness and growth potential, Rozetatech was selected as the 'Ministry of Science and ICT's Global Future Unicorn Cultivation Company' and 'National Representative 1000 Innovative Companies', and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's Excellent Enterprise Research Institute project, and was selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups through its digital twin technology. and is carrying out government R&D projects of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy..
