Rozetatech (CEO Cho Young-jin) announced on the 13th that it signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Seoul Design High School (Principal Lee Jung-mok) to improve school fire fighting facilities.

According to the National Fire Information System data of the National Fire Information System of the National Fire Service Administration, the number of fires in educational facilities per year is about 200. Among them, the frequency of fires in catering facilities is high, and catering facilities are always exposed to the risk of fire due to the high use of electricity and gas. The main causes of fires in catering facilities are gas-induced fires, cooking oil-induced fires during food cooking, electricity-induced fires, and careless handling of flammable substances.

Among them, the most common cause of fire is "gas," and especially when cooking large amounts of food, heating cooking oil for a long time will reach its highest temperature, which is likely to ignite naturally. As the cafeteria is a multi-use facility, human damage can occur in the event of a fire, and gas facilities are at risk of fire and explosion, which requires more attention

Currently, school cafeteria facilities are equipped with general fire extinguishers and sprinklers, but it is difficult to extinguish fires due to hoods and ducts, so there is an urgent need to supplement automatic commercial kitchen fire extinguishers and fire detection facilities that can quickly detect and extinguish fires at an early stage.

There are existing fire detection devices for cafeterias and kitchen facilities, but analog-type products that do not have an early warning function to notify relevant personnel or the fire department of the occurrence of a fire are not helpful in early suppression of fires, and products with an early warning function are only used for responding after a fire occurs. It is at a level where it stays.

Rozetatech. monitors all ignition-related factors such as gas, electricity, temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide through Korea's first IoT smart fire detection system using digital twin technology and prevents fires by identifying abnormal signs in advance. Additionally, chefs and nutritionists will be warned to avoid being exposed to harmful environments.

Seoul Design High School responded to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's recommendation for retroactive installation of commercial kitchen fire extinguishers and fire prevention removal (Article 11 of the Enforcement Decree of the relevant Act) on July 10, 23 to improve fire fighting facilities, enabling prevention and early response to fire and risk factors through a business agreement with Rosetta Tech, and promoting state-of-the-art fire response facilities to manage the safety of cooks and nutritionists for the first time in the country
