On September 29, Ulleung-gun held the ‘DokdoIoT Wireless Fire Detection System Donation Ceremony’ in the meeting room of the Ulleung-gun Office, attended by the county governor, Ulleung-gun officials, and Rosetta Tech executives.

At the donation ceremony, Rozetatech explained the advanced IoT wireless fire detection system based on digital twin technology that will protect safety from disasters such as fire, and donated ‘SmartCol’, an IoT wireless fire detection system to Dokdo.

At the donation ceremony, the Ulleung County Mayor and Rozetatech CEO Jo Young-jin pledged to work together to create a new Ulleung-gun that is safer from disasters so that the military and citizens are happy and more tourists visit again.

In his greeting, CEO Cho Young-jin of Rozetech said, “I am proud to develop and donate a high-tech fire detection system that protects Dokdo, our land, from fire. All facilities in Ulleungdo are also safer through the IoT wireless fire detection system. I think it can be done,” he said.

The mayor of Ulleung County expressed his gratitude during the field trip, saying, "We will contribute more to publicizing the value of Ulleung, which is full of charm with its natural scenery, domestically and internationally, by creating a safer and more peaceful Ulleung environment, including this donation ceremony."
